This is the Centre's largest hall, it will hold up to 120 adults seated around tables - named after the historic school that Gadebridge district was built around.
The Centre holds regular weekly events in the hall with activities such as Stay and Play, Tap and Ballet to Ballroom and Square dance.
The hall is used throughout the week for regular exercise classes from high energy Zumba and Metafit to gentle relaxing Yoga.
Other weekly activities include Karate and Soft Mat Bowling
The hall is hired out with an adjacent kitchen which includes a catering urn and service/plate warming counter - great for food and drinks service at events and parties. There is also a drinking chill/ambient water machine within the kitchen area that is a great hit with the exercise classes.
Note: The hall features a wooden parquet flooring which makes the hall feel warm and welcoming but unfortunately is not suitable for hard shoe activities such as Tap Dance.
Halsey Hall's versatility speaks for itself, as it is used for many events and activities for all ages.
Gadebridge Pre-School use the hall daily from Monday to Friday for the children to have a runaround and practise their dancing, running and cycling skills.
Halsey Hall has been the venue for many wedding receptions, birthday parties, and other one-off events including baby showers through to wakes.
The hall can accommodate bouncy castles if the overall height is shorter than 2.6 metres, though cannot accommodate inflatables that have roofs to them.
